MIDA Learning Technologies, LLC has been working with Digital EdVantage over the past several years, and the expertise and services provided by Digital EdVantage, and its CEO, Dr. Chris Juhasz have been a welcome addition to many wide-ranging projects. Collectively, we have joined forces to create graduate-level online course content, online training for teachers and facilitators, and educational research efforts.
The COVID 19 pandemic triggered a shift in education that saw an increased demand for quality online programming at all levels. Just before the pandemic, Digital EdVantage and MIDA Learning Technologies had begun to build graduate programming for Discovery Education in support of its college partnership programs. The focal area was educational technology ranging from basic applications to artificial intelligence, robotics, and 3D maker spaces. Digital EdVantage was paired with nationally recognized content experts to produce courses that received a great deal of critical acclaim. The courses were then shared with college and university partners for inclusion in master’s programming. Leveraging the Digital EdVantage instructional design expertise was a critical factor in the completion of the project.
When the pandemic hit, it forced schools to close and created an instant need for teacher training in remote delivery methodology. Once again, MIDA LT was asked to create an infrastructure to support this training need, and once again, MIDA LT reached out to Digital EdVantage. The partnership resulted in the creation of on-demand professional development that allowed teachers to learn and instantly transfer strategies to their remote learning environments.
Lastly, MIDA Learning Technologies has been engaged in conducting research studies across the United States that have been focused on project-based learning and career exploration. Studies have focused on district, regional and state-wide initiatives. Dr. Juhasz has been a valuable addition to the research team and has added a great deal of expertise in the qualitative component of each study.
In short, MIDA’s experience in working with Digital EdVantage has been greatly beneficial and the partnerships on all projects to date, have resulted in the successful design development and delivery of those projects.
